A peacekeeper has been shot in Lebanon, the United Nations force in the country has said.
The man, who has not been named, was "hit by gunfire due to ongoing military activity" in the city of Naqoura, UNIFIL said.
Yassamine Mathe, a researcher at the University of Oxford Middle East Centre, told Sky News that attacks on UN peacekeepers show a "serious escalation".
